MURMELIN SPORTS AND JOINT SALVE
Marmot oil salve with menthol, arnica ointment and mountain pine oil supports your joints and promotes circulation after sport and physical exertion. Murmelin was developed around 40 years ago in the Arlberg Pharmacy in St. Anton/Arlberg, Austria – since then, it has been generally available in pharmacies, which serves as evidence for just how effective this salve is.
Application: This salve is fast-acting when applied 2 to 3 times daily on the affected area. Murmelin is easy to apply and quickly absorbed, whilst not being greasy. Murmelin can also be used as a very effective massage oil. The optimum period for curative application is 4 weeks. The efficacy of this salve can be reinforced by combining it with our “Murmelin oil (pure marmot oil)”. The mountain pine oil within the salve lends it its characteristic, pleasant fragrance, which is also unique on the market.
Effects: Marmot oil has long-since been used in response to aching muscles, lumbago, overstraining of the musculoskeletal system and for keeping your joints, vision and muscles healthy. Mountain pine oil and arnica promote circulation in muscles and joints and make them more comfortable. Their cooling effect is due to the menthol, the main ingredient of peppermint which also promotes circulation and increases comfort, as well as slightly soothing pain.
