Die Siliziumatome werden durch Aluminium AlO45- ersetzt, wodurch eine charakteristische r\u00e4umliche Struktur mit einer erheblichen Anzahl von Hohlr\u00e4umen entsteht, die durch Kan\u00e4le miteinander verbunden sind und in denen Metallkationen oder Wassermolek\u00fcle gespeichert sind. Das Gesamtvolumen dieser Hohlr\u00e4ume betr\u00e4gt 24 bis 32 %. <\/p>\n<h2>Anwendungen<\/h2>\n<p>Klinoptilolith wird h\u00e4ufig in der Landwirtschaft, der Viehzucht, dem Umweltschutz und der Wasserreinigung eingesetzt.<\/p>\n<h3>Mechanismus der Wirkung<\/h3>\n<h4>Reversible Hydratation und Dehydratation<\/h4>\n<p>Bei der Trocknung kommt es zur Entfernung von freiem und gebundenem Wasser aus dem Kristallgitter, das dann im Kontakt mit Materialien wie gelagertem Getreide und Futter, Haustierstreu, im Rauchgas zur Verhinderung von Kondensation und dergleichen wieder ausgeglichen wird. Klinoptilolith stabilisiert die Feuchtigkeit bei einer geringen Volumendosis und vermeidet die nachteiligen Auswirkungen von Wasser. <\/p>\n<h4>Ionenaustausch<\/h4>\n<p>Die Gitterstruktur erm\u00f6glicht es Klinoptilolith, als Ionenaustauscher und selektives Adsorptionsmittel zu fungieren. Die Adsorption und der Austausch von Ionen h\u00e4ngt von deren Ladung und Gr\u00f6\u00dfe ab. Je mehr die Gr\u00f6\u00dfe des Ions mit der Gr\u00f6\u00dfe des Eintrittsgitters von Klinoptilolith \u00fcbereinstimmt, desto leichter wird es eingefangen und gehalten. Der Durchmesser der Eintrittsporen betr\u00e4gt etwa 4 Angstr\u00f6m, was den durchschnittlichen Ammoniumionen NH4+, H2O, 134Cs und 137Cs entspricht. Diese Verbindungen weisen die gr\u00f6\u00dfte Affinit\u00e4t zur Bindung an Klinoptilolith auf, das als selektives Adsorptionsmittel f\u00fcr eine breite Palette von Schadstoffen fungiert.
